A new addition to Acer Predator Triton of premium gaming laptops has been announced. Acer Hunter Triton 16 (PT16-51) is equipped with the latest 13th generation Intel processors and Nvidia RTX 40 series memory sticks.
The price of the new Acer Predator 16 starts at $1,800 (approx. Rs. 148,900) in the US and €2,299 (approx. Rs. 204,200) in EMEA. The Acer Hunter Triton 16 (PT16-51) will be available from September 2023.
Acer Predator Triton 16 specifications
Acer’s latest gaming PC, the Predator Triton 16, can have up to a 13th generation Intel Core i9 processor with a turbo frequency of up to 5.4GHz. Additionally, the processor is paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 portable graphics card with Nvidia DLSS 3 and Max-Q technology.
In addition, the new Triton 16 has up to 32 GB DDR5 5200 MHz memory and up to 2 TB PCIe M.2 SSD in a RAID 0 configuration. For optimal continuous performance, the Triton is equipped with a dual fan system with 5th generation AeroBlade 3D metal fans.
In addition, heat pipes and liquid metal thermal grease in the processor help keep internal temperatures cool. Acer is also including a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with the Predator Triton 16.
Acer 16 screen, design
This new premium gaming laptop from Acer features a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel has a 240 Hz refresh rate, 100�I-P3 color gamut and 500 nit peak brightness. It also supports G-Sync and Nvidia Advanced Optimus.
Acer Predator 16 Triton gaming laptop has a keyboard with key-specific RGB lighting that can be customized using the PredatorSense program. It runs Windows 11 with Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600 Wi-Fi 6E 1675i) support.
The laptop also has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 and a MicroSD card. Acer 16 has an elegant design and is only 19.9 mm thick. It also comes with a silver colored metal shell.
